  • Condition: Unusual small 1-7/8" wide jaws clamp-on vise. Vise has some "STICKING" points when you first open it, and then when you close it down to about a 1/2" of being closed, it gets very difficult from the 1/2" mark to fully closed, when fully closed the jaws are a little off to one side. Might be some issue with the vise screw or poor casting of this very old vise?? The top of the vise jaws have saw marks on them. The anvil striking plate is stamped "114" and "PATD JUNE 2nd 91" ?? The clamp on screw is missing the little steel cup that goes on the end of the screw (see pics). I could not find any makers name on the vise?

    Unusual small 1-7/8" wide jaws clamp-on vise. The vise is 5-5/8" long when closed. And 6" tall.
    I really like the looks of this little old vise. And with a little TLC this vise "MIGHT" work well once again???
