VINTAGE RIDGE TOOL CO. 400-R UTILITY VISE SWIVEL BASE. Restored and in excellent condition with no issues. 4" jaws. Opens up to 5 1/2". Measures 12" long x 6" tall. Weighs 20 lbs. Completely disassembled, stripped and cleaned every part and piece. Found no damage or repairs. Primed, painted and clear coated. Buffed and polished all exposed unpainted parts. Lubricated moving parts before reassembling. Vise operates perfectly. Opens and closes with ease. 4" jaws are in very nice shape and close square and tight. Swivel base can rotate 360 degrees and locks down tight. Has built in pipe jaws and a large anvil surface. This vise has a steel slide that is virtually unbreakable. A very well made heavy-duty small utility bench vise, made by the Ridge Tool (Ridgid) Company out of Elyria Ohio. Made in the U.S.A. back when they built things to last forever.
