Vintage Columbian #40 bench vise (Made in USA)

Description

Vintage Columbian #40 bench vise in good condition. Continuous screw-drive mechanism works smoothly. Vise has fixed base (not a swivel base). Jaws open to a maximum of 3". Jaws measure 3" wide x 7/8" tall and also have pipe jaws. Crank handle is straight and turns smoothly. Original red finish is largely intact. Paint has scattered chips, scratches, scuffs, etc. There is some white paint overspray on vise too. Vise has some very light surface rust in a few spots, but it is insignificant. Tool has several dings and gouges. Base measures approx 4" in dia. Vise weighs approx 10.75lbs. Tool is guaranteed to arrive in described condition.
