Snap-On Bench Vise Wilton 1750 Wilton Bench Vise Vintage Swivel Vise 5" Vise.
Vise had a really bad silver paint job over the original SnapOn red.
Wire cup on a grinder, 2 quarts of elbow grease and about 3 hours, did the trick of revealing the quality of this Vintage SnapOn by Wilton Bullet Vise.
Light coating of WD applied to keep it from rusting(not that it has rained here since January)but a quick cleaning, fresh grease, because the gunky dried up sludge was removed as well, and you can paint it whatever color your heart desires.
I chose not to paint it because it’s a beauty as is, and you can really see what you are getting.
There are numbers on the hub of the handle, and cast on both sides of the main body, as the pictures show.

It has its dings and dents but she is a rock solid beast and with the small amount of lubricant applied,after her cleaning, you can spin the vise handle with just one finger.
It is missing the “pipe” vise teeth,if it ever had them,but it does appear that there is a place to install them.
