One of the rarest vises from Miller’s Falls. This came straight off the farm without being cleaned (obviously) and shown in bright sunlight to show every scratch it ever got in the last 140 years. One 3 1/2” jaw is missing and there is a chip on that same side. I did notice only one other Miller’s Falls vise combos on eBay, but it’s only half there. However the half with the jaw seems to be there. I take extreme closeups so there are no surprises when you receive it. The original drop in triangular cut off piece that sits in the pritchel hole is missing. There’s also a square hardy hole on the side. One screw is missing from the side that holds the drill press shaft (see arrow). I did use some oil to make the worm gear on the vise move more freely, but it will need a better cleanup before use. The lower bracket that slides over the shaft for the drill press looks like it may have had a weld repair done about 100 years ago (arrows). The drill’s crank handle turns much better after I shot some oil on it. Vise is 21 1/2" overall length and about 8 3/4" high at the jaws. Drill piece is about 30" tall. I’m selling this as a restoration piece. The side reads: MILLERS FALLS CO. - ANVIL DRILL - PAT. JULY 29, 1879. It weighs about 80 lbs. before packing. It may have to go in two separate boxes if the shipping costs goes to high in one box.  Also available for pick up in East Brunswick, N.J., 08816.
