Emmert Pattern Makers Vise Model K1 in good condition. I believe this model is a Type U-2. The jaws measure 7" X 18" and the vise will open 15". A knobbed handle on the front of the vise will vary the angle of the front jaw allowing the vise to clamp tapered items. Releasing a clamp on the underside, will allow the vise to be rotated 180 degrees vertical. In this position, the vise can then be rotated 360 degrees. The vise also comes with four bench dogs.
The vise is missing the tilt adjust mechanism that locks the vise in place when it is rotated vertically. There is also a welded repair made to the front jaw (See photo # 12). It was professionally done and does not affect the performance of the vise.
The vise weighs approximately 85 pounds.
