Craftsman HUGE 10 in. Under Bench Vise; w/ quick release; 506-51890 Machinist,

Description

This is a large, heavy Under Bench Vise by Craftsman. The jaws are aprox 10 in. by 6 in.. The jaws open to a 12 inch capacity.  There is a pop-up stop in the moving jaw.

The threads, jaws, and quick release mechanism all work fine. There is some rust and staining, but it is superficial. The mechanism works just fine.

I did find one small crack. See the last two photos. I do not think it will be any problem at all. Look at the pics and see what you think.

The handle is aluminum pipe with a spark plug stuck in each end. This was an idea from a former owner.

The quick release is very nice. You can pull the vise out without turning the handle a hundred times. Or you can shut it the same way.

The pop- up stop can be used to quickly pin a board or work piece in place.
The vise is fastened to the bench via two bolts (not included).

Faster Delivery:
I must get my items to the Post office before 1:30 pm Mon-Friday. That means in order for me to have time to prepare your package, I have to have your payment before 12 noon, for the package to go out THAT DAY.
This means that if you can get payment to me before noon, the item will come to you one day sooner than if you make the payment after noon of the same day. Of course, if you order at any time from Friday noon through Sunday morning, there will probably be an extra day or two delay.
