    Description

    Hello, for sale is a Carpenters/Woodworkers Vise. Manufactured by the E.H. Sheldon & Co. of Chicago as branded on the handle. Made of cast iron with no doubt as it is extremely heavy duty and high quality looking. We had removed it from an antique Sheldon Workbench that we wanted to make a kitchen island out of. The vise did operate when it was removed. All components seem to move freely and function as intended. It also comes with the 2 wood blocks and original screws as pictured. Beautiful antique condition, showing light wear consistent with age and use. No damage no note. Does weigh in at about 40 lbs. Circa 1900. Thanks for looking.
